“One of the greatest surprises for me during this journey was the heightened level of my situational awareness. You develop a keen sense of your environment and the body language of the people around you. The training also prepares you to “think ahead” of any potential situation meaning, if I see someone approaching in a potentially aggressive manner, I intuitively look for my way out of the situation proactively. You will also calmly develop a game plan in your head to defend yourself if required.”
